SUNRISE OF GLOBAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM

After the collapse of the Global IT industry in 2000 we have found many twists and tales of the industry and today we are standing at the door of a new decade of exploration. The Global IT industry is going and adopting new revolution in the corporate world where after the recession of 2008 the performance and sustainability of the every economy and industry is depending. In my last couple of articles I have depicted the stupendous growth of the industry being awaited to witness. Many entrepreneurs has entered into the segment and another dozens would be multiplying every year in this segment. Some of the prime revolution of the Network speeds which is nonetheless considerably faster, storage capacity substantially greater cost efficiency and data analytics. Data analytics is the biggest revolution after the recession of 2008 which plays a significant role in restructuring the global corporate platform. The data analytics segment requires extensive employment all segments of a company so that the development of the company as well as of the industry takes a new shape. Supply chain management has already taken a revolution with deployment of extensive IT related systems. But now the IT system is extending beyond a particular division of the company.

With the ever increasing Political and economic uncertainty after 2008 like the US and European economy followed with Chinese economy, looming talent shortages and changes in demand are all factors that will influence business strategies in the coming years. In my research I find that cash flow and earning projection are going to take a new shape with the inclusion of IT related strategies in business growth. Develop community to grow business through IT. One of the biggest revolutions of the Indian IT industry has been the increase in speed and extensive data sharing and data accessing. Well this is proved from crime and other matters get protested online manner in huge quantum and voting projections of political system in every upcoming election.
Online Collaboration Platforms:

We all know that client is God hence servicing the God is a prime part of the companies. But with the recession of 2008 the landscape of servicing clients has taken a major toll which has spooked the demand of online segment across the globe, across the industry and across the culture. In my recent case study I came across few companies who have made online platforms for their business development and have made a substantial contribution towards product development and services. Proctor & Gamble, a US household goods firm, is one of today’s pioneers in using online communities, having flung open the doors via its Connect+ DevelopTM website to source ideas from the public at large, which may include individuals with an idea or organizations. Getting more ideas is the key to develop strategy for the organization to survive and develop growth for long term.
Case Study:

Dell, a US-based PC-maker one of his first steps was to establish a website, called IdeaStorm, to solicit suggestions from consumers and business customers worldwide. Moreover dell employees monitor the system extensively to gauge which ideas are most relevant, and the site shows contributors how the ideas are being put into action. This is the key aspect that taking ideas and deploying the same into system and using it judiciously so that the organization can fetch the maximum benefit from such things.
Starbucks, a US firm that operates a global chain of coffee shops, is a recent recruit to the online community movement with its MyStarbucksIdea. com website, launched in March 2008. The site urges

Customers to post ideas on ways the firm can improve its products and service, and also to vote on other people’s ideas. All these examples reveal that the global IT platform is entering into another revolution of the market and industry. All these systems create a stupendous growth into the Brand valuation process for the companies. The global banking and financial industry is also taking immense utilization of the IT revolution. In my recent case study I find that China’s Shanghai Stock Exchange has created a new model of collaboration with customers in the financial services industry, at least in China, through the creation of an “IT laboratory”. This helps them to create to interact more closely with the clients and develop quality products. An example is the launch of our new trading system—customers were required to make adjustments to front-end systems, and they did it on site.
Grouping of Ideas:

Cultural differences have also being reduced through this online collaboration system. The one which is being designed in India may not be implemented in African economy. Hence global collaboration system has helped to reduce the time gap of development of product and also studying the different markets within short span of time. It’s all about customer satisfaction which is being developed through the efficient use of IT. More importantly I find that democracy of online collaboration of ideas should be included into the open space management of the organization culture. A natural byproduct of online communities, particularly those oriented towards consumers and the broader public, will be a mass of information that will need careful channeling to be useful. I find many entrepreneurs would come up with system through which they will develop the online collaboration facility and develop strategies for companies. Since this online collaboration and biased approach for an organization cannot be avoided. Hence third party firms would come up to bridge the gap and crystallize the process of the organsaition to develop new products and services.

The birth Place of Ideas of Today- According to the Study.      Future of Idea will come from

PONOGRAPHY ADVERTISEMENT,WEBSITES,TEENAGERS & SOCIETY

Well my article might be an old topic but has serious issue and has stupendous dangerous affect on the society in coming days. I am not going to provide an extensive statistical numbers since the matter is beyond numbers. The matter is of more understanding rather than just copying the statistical numbers. Internet has created vast opportunity for the easy information access from any corner of the world. The same has created ripple effect on various societies like India also. With the increase of internet users the negative aspect of the internet has started grappling the society into one of the darkest journey. Now days I find pornography being explicitly used as an advertisements besides every website. I find that even in education sites the advertisements of the pornography is being shown. This reveals that today sex is now an entertainment and the same is being used as a business sources in online segment too. A question immediately comes into my mind is that are we promoting rapes and nudity to be part of our social culture. With the number of rapes getting up and the level of vulgarity getting increased reveals the change in mindset of the society.

Recently a couple of day’s back I read that some lady got into a date with a face book friend and got raped after she met the face book friend. In online shopping websites I find nudity advertisement are being given openly and the same is being promoted at a high level in every website. I don’t understand that why in social sites and other websites such advertisements are being given. In order to increase the traffic of the website nudity, pornography and sex offers (Prostitution supply) is being promoted. In 2010, out of the million most popular (most trafficked) websites in the world, 42,337 were sex-related sites. That’s about 4% of sites. The world's biggest adult website receives an estimated 4.4billion 'hits' each month. There are many pay sites which usually charge anywhere from $10 to $100 per month for access. It seems like that drugs which use to destroy the young generation slowly over the years, pornography advertisements are working faster compared to drugs. The young generation of India is highly getting crumbled under the pornography and we are not formulating attractive legal system for these type of advertisements.

Even there are dozens of software’s for downloading the pornography segment which are also being used in the advertisement segment on the websites. It has been found that internet providers are declining the offer of not promoting pornography. They are extensively using it into their system to promote and increase their revenue from high traffic and from the same website of pornography. Curiosity within every human being is the tool which is being tempted to increase the viewership and also convert the society culture of a country. India is the very strong victim of such thing. Young teenager children’s are becoming quickly victims to theses pornography websites. Delhi gang rape is the one of the biggest proof. Smart phones on the other side have created a stupendous jump in the pornography websites.

Teenagers are the biggest suffers since they don’t understand sex completely and curiosity makes them more obsessed. Even it has been found that these website advertisements even promote prostitution business and there is a substantial growth of viewers and users. Nearly 1 in 5 searches made from mobile devices are for pornography. Furthermore, 24% of smart phone owners have porn on their handset, and of these. Teens and young adults in particular use smart phones, and are therefore at a higher risk of Internet misuse on their mobile devices. One study found that 51% of 18-34-year-olds own smart phones. Meanwhile, 49% of teens use the Internet on a mobile device. Then just calculate the number of increase in pornography. After the recession of 2008 this industry segment has grown into billions from millions. High unemployment, social problems of life has been the key ingredient behind increasing the number of the pornography business. In Indian extensive internet users and temptation full advertisements are converting and affecting the society. The society of India is on the verge of death.

WEST BENGAL DURGA PUJA and CHEAT FUNDS

This time the organizers of Kolkata Durga Puja is going to face many hurdles this year since majority of the advertisements or the sponsors were used to coming from the cheat fund segment. Yes this shocking truth would make many of friends afraid to hear. The shopping market festive of Durga Puja in west Bengal is going to take a major hit since majority of the buyers were directly or indirectly connected with the Cheat Fund Companies.  Over the past 37 years west bengal has created a semi-qualified manpower and high level of poor educated labour force. All for the sake of political parties. For these people Durga Puja is one of the prime source of income through the organising community of the Durga Puja. Now the middle aged people of west bengal are the prime players and earners of the Durga Puja festivals. Traditional values and other aspects remains at its own place but money priniting process has taken a substantial jump through this Durga Puja.

Many of my friends would accept that for the last couple of years we have found many people of west Bengal accept higher to higher prices of goods and services during Durga Puja festive season. Well one may not find a very high level of peculiarity or a strange type of activity but the fact is still witnessed and would be agreed. The black money or the easy money has made the festive season of west Bengal to be a highly attractive profit making business. From the organizers of the PUJA to the shopkeepers of the west Bengal, both have made tremendous money which got floated from the Chit Fund organizations. At the same time its quite difficult to figure out how much money used to come from these cheat funds into the Durga Puja organisers pocket since the accounts are never disclosed in original terms to the public.

West Bengal Puja has been a profit making process which is clearly disguised under the blanket of inflation and high level of cost of materials and food items. The below chart will depict a part of the huge incremental jump of cost of Puja in west Bengal. Well this is just a small part and in total there are around 1000 pujas in west Bengal. The figure would be high if not less. Durga Puja this year would be interesting to watch. I can already bet that this year we would find a substantial drop in the market sells in the Durga Puja.

The cheat fund associates and also the people who lost their funds are now going to add fuel to the sagging market of Durga Puja in this year 2013. West Bengal is already under tremendous pressure and with this recent insolvency of the people of west Bengal due to the cheat funds would create a major drawback. Black money makers are going to face the heat. Well atleast other middle class society people of west Bengal would find some peace with prices coming down since their will be few takers of the high Prices.

West Bengal At the back

The state of west Bengal is really going through one of the worst times may be worse than the 37 years of the rule of CPIM. The ruling political system and the Chief Minister doesn’t understand that if the law of an state is not proper then there would be no investments and no corporate would be interested to walk into Eastern Region. Today west Bengal current condition is well know to any one from B.B.D Bag to Brazil since Bengalis are present all over the world. Media have also played a vital role in provoking political war within the state. News channels in Bengali have proved well about this matter. The CM being an very intelligent women has become too much frustrated in handling the administration which is well reflected within her words within the last 6 months. Well it seems that West Bengal is being handled by one man army since majority of the members of the ruling party in west Bengal are mixed bag of fruits collected over several years.

The state has lost all its sheen and good names. Rapes and murders are being compared with other states with an smile on face of being low in number in west Bengal. Does that mean that west Bengal is trying to become No.1 in these activities? Well this is what it means and gets reflected from the words of the ruling party members and their leaders. I don’t understand that how everyone is being tagged as a Maosit. Well this is the safest avenue for the ruling party to covers and hide its mistakes. They forget that west Bengal is competing with another 27 states of India.

Unemployment very is high in west Bengal well this is proved from the semi -educated hawkers roaming in the local trains. These same are being counted and treated as entrepreneurs by the ruling and non ruling political parties of west Bengal. Most of the hawkers margin of business stands between Rs0.50 to Rs.2 per sale. West Benagl ruling party is forgetting that if their legal system is not proper then their cannot be peace their cannot be prosperity. Women’s needs to be provided the highest rate if safety since if that is the weakest no capitalist will invest in West Bengal. One more thing the Mamata Banerjee should keep in mind and implement at the earliest that everyone is not allowed or should not be allowed to join the ruling party. Well every one cannot afford to go for foreign trips. It should be an limited offer period.

TECHNOLOGY...INDIAN EDUCATION

Global education has taken radical change after the recession of 2008.One will be surprised to find this but the education system has taken a huge expansion in the global as well as in the Indian economy. Well here again the best award goes to Information Technology for making a radical change in the segment. Online learning is gaining a firm foothold in universities around the world. The limitation of education is being removed and higher levels of education are on the path of growth from all angles of the society. From corporate to general students education through technology has taken a radical change. At the same time Social-networking tools are helping to build connections with alumni and support career service activities. E-marketing campaigns expand the reach and success of recruiting and fundraising efforts, and drive down the cost of direct-mail campaigns.

Cost of providing education has been brought down to negligible segment where one gets huge benefit from low cost education but with an high value of the same. And automated, self-service programmes reduce administrative requirements, streamline course registration and enhance academic life. Well driving down the cost of distance learning has been an boon for the global economy. But while come to find the same story in India I find the economy is far from achieving the desired goal from this segment. This is mainly due to the primitive old methods of education system still prevailing within the minds of the society. In my research I have found that online-collaboration tools, software that supports individually paced learning and learning-management systems are among the communications technologies most expected to improve academics over the next five years. Well In India we are still to see the revolution. Another main reason for not finding this segment to be vital is lack of seriousness in the online education value system. Well we Indian always value late and consider prices first.

In my recent research I found that while distance-education programmes continue to grow in number and to improve in quality, most survey participants see online courses as a supplement to face-to-face classes. The slowdown of the world economy especially in the US and Europe economy has spooked the demand of higher level of skill and qualification acquisition appetite. Unemployment and global free work force supply is an significant challenge between the various economies to maintain and improve the quality of education system. Now it’s being found that how not only to equip students with an adequate education in their field of study, but also to arm them with the skills and knowledge required to leverage technology effectively in the workplace. Even in India in a recent survey it has been found that Indian don’t have enough PHD holders. Well this is the prime reason why the University Grants Commission (UGC) has lifted the two -year-old ban on distance MPhil and PhD courses.

Technology has helped to bridge the gap of education system but we need to accept and implement the same into our minds and systems of the society. I have even found that there is a general perception that online education system is not of any worth compared to traditional methods of education system. Well unless we do experiment we cannot develop anything hence we need to get into the platform of online education. Global competition has already accepted the online education system and we need to adapt that into our system before we get late to enter and exist in the higher level of education system. In my next article I will come up with cost management application in online education system.

MANAGEMENT KEY BEHIND BIG DATA

In last couple of months I have writing extensively on Big Data management and its evolution in the industry. In my recent research I find that consumer companies who are the king of the ‘Big Data’ market are having various problems in using and implementing the data management process within the organization core skills. Consumer companies are finding difficult to implement the big data analysis through their cross border human culture. Finding the right people to implement the same is the biggest of all challenges which is faced by the consumer companies. Switching the business culture into data centric analysis approach is a critical task for the origination.

Reporting of the data analysis and making decision out of stands to be another big challenge for the organizations. Since the data analysis is not decentralized process and more of a centralized process which leads to the debate of making the reporting to the CEO of CFO of an organization. Much of the reporting system designs the fate of type of data analysis to be carried out from the big data analysis. Moreover quality of manpower decides the process of implementation of the analytics. Cross border or same country geographical differences creates challenges for the management to utilize the big data analysis. If the manpower is not able to concept the gap between the big data analytics then company faces one of the strongest hurdles to compete in the market. Moreover when the data analytics report says to discontinue one product and run another one the tussles of interdepartmental begins which further hinders the growth of the organization from the Big data analysis.

Further I find that big data analysis requires creative questions so that efficient utility can be achieved from the data usage. Old process of analysis to drive only sales and revenue is not going to work in the growing competitive market. Taking advantage of the insights is going to be key decision making ingredients for the successful implementation of the big data analysis. In my recent case study I found that Nokia uses its data analysis efficiently in product designing. Nokia uses its low cost handset data usage in emerging economies to find the internet users over its phones. The design the products accordingly and not very keen in the smart phone race but are focusing on niche segment of first time users of phones in the market. At the same time I find there is an huge lack of ‘Big Data’ analytics in the market. Well in short this is one difficulty is that the underlying business processes have been long established and represent a barrier to change. This creates pressure on the investment aspect of the organization and places substantial responsibility on the CFO of the origination to make the decision of rightly. Well I find there is a substantial blockage in the Big Data analysis. The challenge becomes herculean when such as developing new product lines or new business models through Big Data analysis. That’s the reason why raised the question about reporting of Big Data analysis.
In 2011 McKinsey & Company, a consulting firm forecast a shortage by 2018 in the US alone of 140,000-190,000 people with deep analytical skills, as well as 1.5m managers and analysts able to make effective decisions based on big data. In late 2012 Gartner, a US-based technology research company, predicted that some 4.4m IT jobs alone would be created globally by 2015 to support the advent of big data, well globally the number is too big and in an country like India its an huge opportunity for midsized IT companies to grow their business. But only data analytics would not help, one needs to have an in-depth knowledge about the functioning process of the industry and its futuristic growth models then only one can finds proper analytical reports. At Dabur, for example, the company created a dedicated data team about a year ago, comprised of senior sales people with a technology oriented background. The key advantage is the specific business and industry knowledge that these teams bring to the task.
Well the key metric over here is the place to seek to gain an edge from the data collection, and the ability to get more creative in how the companies mine it, and the kinds of patterns can be uncovered, will be crucial to their ability to reveal new product categories, or customer service initiatives for these companies. Thosee organization  who are more actionable proper policies are required for successful implementation of Big Data analytics. Those who can properly adapt to a data-centric world will increasingly gain competitive advantage from it.

Cost Accountants and SME Relation

Well I am not going to start my article of today with giving a long background about the potentiality of the Small and Medium enterprise for an economy. Rather I have found that SME now stands to be survival agents for the Economic crisis across the globe. In my research I have found that the recent slowdown and turbulent economic conditions of the Europe and US economic growth needs more growth and entrants of Small and Medium enterprise into the country. Innovation and entrepreneurship are the demand of the situation and hence we need more SME to come ahead to pick up the employability and bring innovation live into the system. We cannot find growth from traditional companies and process in Europe and US economy. We need SME to grow and equally government of these economies needs to promote and help the growth of the SME segment.
Small and Medium enterprise needs better cost management strategies which would help them to negate the constraints of growth. In my research I have found that SME needs better management of keeping and maintaining books of accounts. Rather I would place it in this way that they need to maintain high quality of financial papers. As SMEs grow, it is possible that new clients or new suppliers will scrutinize the firm’s financial position. Sound financial statements and balanced funding will help reassure prospective business partners. It’s more important than having sound financial papers.

Whiling coming to the path of cost management I find the needs easy and lucid strategies of growth and survival. In fact survival strategies are more required in the initial phase rather than growth. Cost management is the vital path to survival for an SME. Application of activity based cost management and flexible budget are the most widely best strategies. Both these tools keeps an check and control over the cost.

Another most important aspect I came across is the human resources management policies of the SME. They have to be very critical and very strong enough to support the long term vision and mission of the SME unit. Now many of friend might argue that it is not possible for an SME to have an high paid human resource. This is the place where we go wrong. It is not the question about high paid human resources but the picking up of the resources linking with the vision and mission of the SME unit in the short as well as in the long term. Well one must not forget that human resources are the biggest capital and its proves well when incase of SME. High level of attrition could damage the growth and stability of the SME segment. Hence HR policies of an SME unit needs to be very strong enough and should not be taken as an easy process.

Technology on the other side has taken a huge rollover particularly for the SME. Over here I have noticed that often SME invest majority of their capital into Technology with this idea that it would help them to reduce cost over the time. Since majority of them think that initial cost of the technology is fixed cost and this would get depleted over the years. But we fall into the trap of huge investments which might not work with the perception of taking and developing the technology. We have found a handful of companies falling under this trap. The best way is to take up simple technology in the initial days and design the technology with the progress of the unit. This gives an enough space for the SME unit to invest and strategies its investments into technology and various other aspects of the business without creating a dead lock. Moreover I have found that the growth of software-as-a-service models is also bringing sophisticated management information systems within reach of SMEs. This is another key area where the SME needs to focus with the scalability of the business. Process like big data management needs to be implemented with the scalability of the SME unit. This is often found to be missing even in the initial stage of the SME business. We must remember that efficient client servicing is the key for the SME to grow and sustain. Hence MIS and Big data management needs to be adopted and implemented within the system from the initial days of the SME business process.
Moreover the process management should be excellent enough to support the standards of the market. This is a key area for the SME segment in the short term as well as in the long term. In my research I have found that it is beyond sound process management. I find cost accountants who are in the segment of internal audit can be utilized or designing the management process of an SME. Cost Accountants hold diverse knowledge about various industries and its cost aspects hence I find that they should be placed as an consultant by the SME segment. In my research I have found that often SME gets big projects based upon their strength of the process management of the SME segment. Hence process management and efficient process flow chart are mandatory for the SME segment. Expert advice is necessary at every step of and SME segment to grow and sustain the business growth over the period.
